Lineage M, a paradigm shift for mobile
Lineage M, NC’s mobile MMORPG game, was unveiled in June 2017 to an audience anticipating a new legend in mobile gaming. Capturing the quintessence of Lineage (for PC) and creatively transforming its heritage, Lineage M fulfilled the high expectations of audiences with great reception, gaining record-breaking popularity and rewriting the history of Korean gaming.
A monumental MMORPG, and a new mobile era for NC
Lineage M showed NC’s technical prowess in its full glory, achieving an unprecedented success and setting the new standard for Korean mobile MMORPGs. This was followed by a successful global release that started with the launch in Taiwan in December 2017.
A transformed Lineage (PC) made by innovating content
Lineage is commended as one of the greatest Korean PC games, and Lineage M – Lineage for mobile – managed to preserve the familiar vibe and experience while elevating the original to a new level through new content optimized for mobile. Lineage M built its own world with original elements including new classes (Shrine and Fighter) and battles (Crumbling Island and Camp Battle).
