PANGYO, Korea (May 21, 2025) – NCSOFT has added a new Mythic-grade Hero, Teker, to its idle MMORPG, Journey of Monarch.

Teker is a Mythic-grade water-element melee Hero, boasting powerful skills like ‘Titan Lock’, which inflicts area-of-effect damage and grants a damage reflection effect for a limited time.

Three new Hero skins—White Rose Gillean, May Queen, and Midday Romance Deimia—have also been released, along with a new Magic Doll skin, Fluffy Flower Bear. Applying these skins grants additional stat bonuses, including HP, Power, Agility, and Intelligence.

Five new elemental dungeons, Altar of Spirits, have also been added. Each dungeon is themed around a specific element—fire, water, wind, earth, or non-elemental—and requires players to form teams of Heroes with matching elemental attributes to defeat bosses. Clearing these dungeons rewards players with Elemental Emblems, which can be exchanged through ‘Spirit Altar Special Offers’ for valuable items, including 12-faced Dice (Legend-grade Blessed Gear), Legend Hero Awakening Stone, Legend Magic Doll Awakening Stone, and Altar of Spirits Lucky Chest.

Additionally, a new gameplay optimization feature has been introduced to enhance performance on Android devices. Developed in collaboration with Google, Journey of Monarch now supports Android Dynamic Performance Framework (ADPF), helping reduce device heat and improve the overall gameplay experience.
