PANGYO, Korea (March 19, 2025) – NCSOFT has introduced ‘Dragon Slayer,’ the first-ever Mythic grade hero, to its idle MMORPG, Journey of Monarch.

The newly added ‘Dragon Slayer’ embodies the essence of battling dragons—the most powerful entities in the Lineage universe—representing the ultimate challenge against absolute power.

Mythic grade heroes in Journey of Monarch boasts unparalleled combat capabilities, wielding powerful attributes such as the ultimate skill ‘Excalibur.’

The update also introduces the ‘Hero Awakening’ system, allowing players to elevate level 100 Legend grade heroes to Mythic grade. Players can obtain Legend Hero Awakening Stones, essential materials for awakening, by deploying ‘Dragon Slayer’ within their Territory.

In addition, a new costume series inspired by the legendary ‘Druga Family’—renowned dragon slayers in the Lineage universe—has been released. The Monarch costume ‘Bale Druga’ provides additional Attack Power boost upon acquisition. New Hero skins Chloe Druga, Evelyn Druga, and Yen Druga have also been added, each granting various combat-related bonuses such as HP, Power, Agility, and Intelligence.
