PANGYO, Korea (March 5, 2025) – NCSOFT has released a new update for its idle MMORPG, Journey of Monarch, introducing a new hero, ‘Cerenis’.

Cerenis is a Legend-grade fire-element magic hero equipped with Force Field, a skill that continuously deals area-of-effect damage while applying debuffs to enemies within a circular range.

The Journey of Monarch x Tekken collaboration expands with the introduction of new crossover content. Players can now obtain Monarch costumes and hero skins featuring iconic Tekken characters Kazuya Mishima, Ling Xiaoyu, Paul Phoenix, and King. Also, Panda is available as a Magic Doll skin.

The Tower of Ordeals has been expanded, increasing the maximum difficulty from Floor 50 to Floor 80. Players who clear Floor 80 will be rewarded with the Death Knight costume. The progression limit has been lifted with the level cap for Heroes and Magic Dolls increasing from 80 to 90. Also, battle formations can now include up to 10 heroes, with an additional slot unlocking upon reaching Stage 15,500.

A new Combat Power Ranking System has been introduced, allowing players to check their rankings in real-time through the in-game Ranking menu.

NCSOFT continues to refine the player experience with ongoing quality-of-life improvements. In this update, the auto-dice function has been upgraded—when Tower of Insolence or Fishing Events are triggered, event tokens are automatically awarded, ensuring continuous rolling without interruption. These event tokens can be exchanged for valuable growth-supporting items in the Dice Token Shop.
