PANGYO, Korea (December 4, 2024) – NCSOFT’s latest MMORPG, THRONE AND LIBERTY, marks its first anniversary with a major content update packed with new content and events.

Players can experience the powerful short-range weapon Spear, the new stat Fortitude, the Combat Setting presets, and the Hyper Boosting Season 2 servers specialized for rapid progression.

The Spear is a versatile short-range weapon designed to dominate enemies by exploiting their weaknesses. Players can quickly crowd control (CC) and render those who stand in their way defenseless with Spear’s unique abilities. With buffs that enhance attack speed against debuffed enemies and boost critical hits for party members, Spear is a strategic choice for both PVE and PVP content.

Fortitude, the new main stat, adds a dynamic layer to gameplay. Players can benefit their vitality significantly, as well as boost their base damage, magic defense, melee/magic/ranged endurance, and crowd control (CC) resistance. Additionally, with the Combat Setting presets, players can save and seamlessly switch between different setups for equipment, skills, Astral Vision, and more, ensuring smoother transitions during gameplay.

The Hyper Boosting Season 2 server launches at 8 PM today (GMT/UTC+9), offering accelerated character progression through exclusive support events. After the season ends, this server will remain independent, allowing players to retain the equipped gear, as well as Epic and Epic-2 items enhanced to Tier-9 or higher, equipped runes, and artifacts. Existing servers will also host special Hyper Supporting events to boost their progress for all players.

Players can participate in various activities to commemorate THRONE AND LIBERTY’s first anniversary:

• ‘Flying High: 1st Anniversary Flag’: Complete quests to earn rewards like Rare Artifact Chance Chest, Abyssal Contract Token Points, and Dimensional II Contract Token Points.
• Countdown & Fireworks: Join the in-game festivities at 11:50 PM on December 6 (GMT/UTC+9) for a celebratory countdown and fireworks display.
• Various Community Events: Participate in events like ‘TL’s Best Moments’, where you share favorite gameplay memories, and the ‘About TL’ quiz to test your game knowledge.
