PANGYO, Korea (March 11, 2021) – NCSOFT, a global premier game developer and publisher, announced the company’s top-level compensation policy in Korean IT industry to procure outstanding talents and strengthen competitiveness in global market.
NCSOFT announced the new compensation policy for 2021 on March 11. The initiative includes ▲a new wage system for new employees ▲pay raise for existing employees ▲plans for performance-related pay and special compensation from the CEO.
▶ The entry-level salary cap removed to recruit outstanding talents: a minimum of KRW 55 million for developers and KRW 47 million for non-developers apart from wage for extra working hours
NCSOFT removes the salary cap for new recruits, offering a minimum entry-level salary of KRW 55 million for developers and KRW 47 million for non-developers. This applies to the college graduates who joined in 2021 to guarantee a minimum wage without caps. The company offers higher payment based on employee’s expertise and professionality, along with top-level salaries in the industry for outstanding individuals.
▶ Pay raise for all employees: KRW 13 million for developers and KRW 10 million for non-developers aside from performance-related pay
NCSOFT raises the annual salary across the board by at least KRW 13 million for developers and KRW 10 million for non-developers. Employees receive a wage for extra working hours as well. The company offers additional pay raise for individuals with outstanding results.
▶ Performance-related pay and special compensation from the CEO for the record financial results in 2020
NCSOFT offers two extra incentives in March: ▲individual’s performance-related pay ▲KRW 8 million as special compensation from the CEO for the record financial results in 2020. The special compensation will be given to all existing employees regardless of job level or position, including regular workers, contract workers, dispatched workers, and interns.
