PANGYO, KOREA (January 21, 2021) – NCSOFT, a global premier game developer and publisher, announced that the K-POP entertainment platform, ‘UNIVERSE,’ will be launched globally on January 28.

UNIVERSE is an all-in-one platform that users can enjoy various online and offline fandom activities on mobile devices. Unique content based on NCSOFT’s IT technologies enable artists and fans to build a stronger connection.

UNIVERSE surpassed 4 million pre-registrations as of January 21. K-POP fans from 188 countries have participated, with overseas fans accounting for 80 percent. Users who participated on Google Play or Apple App Store can receive rewards such as ▲a coupon to acquire opportunities to join artists’ events in the future and ▲a coupon for one of NCSOFT’s games.

NCSOFT will hold an online concert, ‘UNI-KON,’ on February 14, available for live-streaming. Users can enjoy this free-of-charge concert.

NCSOFT is planning to utilize XR (Extended Reality) technology such as AR (Augmented Reality) and MR (Mixed Reality) for concerts and is also planning to provide a multi-view function that lets fans enjoy a performance from different angles.

A total of 14 artists will perform at the concert, including IZ*ONE, MONSTA X, THE BOYZ, Kang Daniel, (G)I-DLE, ATEEZ, AB6IX, ASTRO, WJSN, CIX, Park Ji Hoon, OH MY GIRL, CRAVITY, and Wei.
